MySchoolPortal - What can it not do

We are looking at MySchoolPortal as a potential portal for parents to replace the awful iSAMS offering.

 

I recall looking at MySchoolPortal a few years ago and I think (though I could be misremembering) that it couldn't pull through exams results or exams timetables.

 

Is this still an issue with MySchoolPortal and/or are there any other things that a school might consider 'mission critical' that MySchoolPortal just cannot do?

Out of interest, have you seen the new isams cloud portal? It's better than the old one.

We use iSAMS and MSP - it pulls the exam timetables, results and can pull access arrangements as well if you enable that content. They had a change to the exam options a while ago which are a huge improvement - and pupils can enable their parents/guardians to see results as well if they want.

What are the specific thing you need from a Portal? That might be easier to address than what it can't do!

We're literally in the process of implementing MSP with iSAMS so feel free to reach out if you have any questions, though not about Exam Manager as we don't use that.

 

The new iSAMS portal is an upgrade of the interface and has seemingly no new features.
