Mr_Jiminy Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 What websites do folks use for selling IT equipment? I'm looking to sell a Keychron Q2 keyboard and just want advice on the best place to list it. I'm guessing ebay, but open to suggestions.
synaesthesia Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 Frankly, I'd choose Facebook Marketplace these days. Ebay is an absolute joke between the fees and policies and just isn't worth the hassle. As long as you don't mind limiting audience to a more local area for pickup then you'd be fine.

Prefer to stick with Ebay for more protection, plus its free to list now 1
Davit2005 Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 Jus be wary of scams on either. Personally I stick to eBay for the security yep the fees can be horrendous sometimes.
synaesthesia Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 Free to list - very, very expensive to sell.
sideone Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 I'm looking to sell a Keychron Q2 keyboard and just want advice on the best place to list it. ISO or ANSI? What colour and ballpark cost? Cheers

I'd echo eBay and perhaps ~~reddit.com/r/mechanicalkeyboardsuk~~ https://www.reddit.com/r/mechmarket/ Edited December 13, 2024 by sideone

dmj Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 Ebay waived a lot of the fees recently for private sellers.
mrbios Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 Probably no use to you right now due to the access requirements unless you're an active member already, but the Overclockers uk forums have a brilliant members market with some quite strict rules. Have to have a certain number of posts and/or have been a member for a minimum period of time, as well as 15 forum posts in the last 3 months in order to have access. I've bought and sold loads there over the last 20+ years. 1
