Simcfc73 Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Evening, Anyone still using this? Their email bounced back and no new versions have been released for ages. Getting a dot net error on new installs now so its failing... don't want to go back to unreliable deployments.
OLPTech Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Did you use their email on their website, their email address has an mistake in it - it reads [email protected] but should be [email protected] I did report to them that their email address on their website is wrong, they acknowledged it but didn't seem to update the website. I heard back from them in July but haven't emailed them since. Thanks

Getting a dot net error on new installs now so its failing... don't want to go back to unreliable deployments. We stopped using recently due to an error. We reverted to group policy preferences and found it to be much more reliable than when we stopped. We have since upgraded to Windows 11 though
thimon Posted November 22, 2024 Posted November 22, 2024 Recently moved over to using PaperCut Print Deploy. Very simple to setup.
mdrabble Posted November 22, 2024 Posted November 22, 2024 I use Papercut Print Deploy of a couple of Intune laptops - works well. For domain joined users I use @Katy GPO/Powershell - https://katystech.blog/on-prem/powershell-printer-script - never missed a beat.
Simcfc73 Posted November 29, 2024 Author Posted November 29, 2024 Just a confession... my fault.. I'd renamed the file server a while ago so the filecopy wasn't copying over the config files. Rookie error.
