Egress

Hi everyone. I'm wondering does anyone else on here use Egress? I feel the cost per license is quite a bit direct from Egress. Is anyone else using Egress and if so do you use an alternative supplier, if so who and do you recommend them? Any feedback would be gratefully received. Edited October 23, 2024 by mbeard

We got it bundled in with our LGFL broadband subscription.

 

Before that the LA paid for it - but I think that budget squeezes at their end ruled it out.

Same, bundled with LGfL. We got given X number of licenses, but as we're a big school wangled a couple more. No idea what pricing is like as a commercial product, though.

 

Do you have Office 365 A3 or above? Might be worth looking at the inbuilt mail encryption in that, if Egress is looking too costly.

 

Alternatively, you could ask a reseller if they can offer you a price (we use Millgate for our licensing generally).

When I worked in Warwickshire it was required by the council and I think they provided licenses for the Head, SENCO etc but for every thing else we used the O365 built in mail encryption.

 

Most people found it easier and when a recipient could not decrypt the message not only was there was more help available, but as soon s they realised it was a Microsoft product they would blame them.

LGfL can resell it to you. I believe it’s much less than going direct.
