Recommend me a headset for Teams calls

Our office is quite noisy and people I'm in Teams meetings have complained that it's hard to hear me because the background noise is picked up. I've noticed it when other people in our office are on the same call as me. We've got matching Jabra headsets, although fairly low down the range.

 

What do people recommend?

 

I'm not too fussed about noise cancelling in the headphones, but not set against either. Personally I like keeping half an ear on what's happening around me, but I do want to stop complaints from people in speaking to.

Jabra Evolve2 65

Good for office use, excellent microphone quality, wireless, and offers some passive noise isolation without complete immersion.

The Evole2 65 is what we have just got its good, I even found the more basic wired one ok and our office is loud.

I've always loved the plantronics headsets (I'm wearing one of their monaural ones right now) - been bought by HP but hopefully still great:

Has anyone tried the "voice isolation" feature in Teams?

 

We're currently using the Jabra Evolve 20 devices, which are supposed to have a noise cancelling microphone. Maybe the gen 2 devices have better technology - or maybe our office is exceptionally noisy...

And have no complaints. They're frequently on sale (but not at present).

Plantronics were always my go to, the Voyager with a stand, then Poly took them over, and HP took over Poly and they seem to have tripled in price. Currently looking at Yealink.

 

The thing to look at is the tech the headset has. There is one for blocking out ambient sound from the mic (can't remember the tech term sorry), these are fairly ubiquitous now but good to check. The second is ANC, Active noise cancelling, to stop you hearing ambient noise. This is where headsets really start to cost lots and manufacturers sow fud, as they will say they cancel noise, but they mean for the mic not for you. I am in a noisy office and find I am having issues with calls, where I am trying to filter out the voice talking to me over the voices in the room. The people that are talking to me can hear me perfectly and with no background noise.
