.RTF files

Afternoon All,

 

Sorry if it is in wrong section.

 

We have just had a new Smoothwall box installed at a primary school. The head is trying to download an .RTF file from insight tracking but it is being blocked due to 'Your organization blocked this due to not meeting a security policy'

 

The primary school had next to nothing filtering so can see the link between Smoothwall and the file being blocked but I have no idea on where to start looking to unblock this.

 

Any help much appreciated

Is it a Smoothwall block page or a Windows one? Both can block RTF files.

It is looking like a Windows one. I done the Realtime web filtering on Smoothwall and nothing was coming up.

So is it the browser that's blocking it?

Not certain on this one - but there will be a Group Policy setting for the browser that allows you to download it.
