Vipre Anti Viris

Have spent the past couple of months evaluating anti virus solutions as our current subscription with Kaspersky is due for renewal.

One of the products we have evaluated has been Vipre Endpoint Security, we have found it be good from the 2 weeks of testing we have had so far.

There is also an added extra of a email filter they provide but we had not had this included in the trial.

 

Just wanted to know if anyone here uses Vipre and what your experiences are?

We moved away when they tripled the cost and went to Sophos.

 

We also uses to use their mail filtering which was pretty good but moved to Barracuda.

Years ago we were hit by Ransomware and Vipre didn't have a clue how to resolve it they instead started to download other competitor software to combat it !

We resolved it by disconnecting the network, retrieving our backups ...and moving to Sophos.

That was an experience as I remember....

Do you have any Microsoft licensing? Have you looked at MDE?

I had a personal licence once. After it almost bricked my computer after a bad update, I won't touch it with a bargepole.

We have been quoted for MS Defender for Endpoint P1 and P2 but its way out of our budget.
