Dafty Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Hi all, I have 2 displays connected to my main PC now and I have just set it to "Horizontal Stretch". The only problem is, is that all my apps when loading appear in the middle, or they maximise across 2 screens. Does anyone know how to stop this (if possible)? Thanks. [This is on WinXP]
petectid Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 The best way to use two monitors under windows is to extend your display across the two displays. Under Desktop properties select the settings tab then select the second monitor in the main window and then check the box Extend my windows desktop onto this monitor. 1

iatkinson Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Depends what graphics card you're running but I'd veer away from "horizontal stretch" and extend the desktop onto secondary monitor instead. This should resolve the problem though depends what software you're running. Worked fine for ATI Sapphire x1550
