Strange one I've not seen before, if anyone can shed any light on it we'd be grateful!

Tried doing a dummy run of the Summer 2024 CENSUS.

SIMS is on version 7.216.22.2 (includes Patch 2) and fileset is 2701.

When choosing 'New' we are getting error: Cannot find table 12

Broken ESS patch, dude. Make sure the patch has gone to the database too, check client has it, reinstall fileset 2701, restart sims, and try it again.

I'm having this issue on all 5 our of primaries and we've had major issues getting the patch onto the DB servers. SchoolICT is fixing it, but understandably due to census week carnage, they're slow to get it fixed.

Being a DB patch, you'll need to do it out of hours, or tell everyone to come out of SIMS until the patch is done.

I found out yesterday Fileset 2702 is to be published, as Fileset 2701 has issues (apparently) - but it won't be until after Census on Thursday.

Suffolk CC: "Errors relating to the early years panel, ie error 3140 as attached. The fileset is expecting a value of 0 to 15 in an area where the school is not expected to put a value if the child is not using extended or expanded hours for nursery. Thus, generating an error, we have spoken with ESS and they are now working on a replacement fileset 2702. As of yet, we are unable to provide a timeline for the release of this replacement fileset."

FYI

ESS have advised that there is an issue with consolidated workstation patch 2, which is triggering a fault code Cannot find Table 11 or 12 in SIMS when you are trying to generate the school census.

An amended patch (Consolidated Workstation Patch 2 - School Census Early Years & DAF)

ask for this patch

Thanks @DarkMaster - I've now seen that ESS have posted a note about it on their support page - https://customer.support-ess.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0054951

Looks like our SIMS clients got ahead of themsleves, which is why they've issued a new patch to prevent it happening for others.

Thanks @Planehazza, I think you might be right that the patch has applied on the clients, but not the database. I'll have to take a look tonight and re-push the update.

Funnily enough dude, a post you made in 2019 has just saved my day:

https://www.edugeek.net/forums/mis-systems/210073-solus-3-object-already-exists.html

That is the problem I'm having with our hand me down MIS environment, where the previous LA that handled it didn't even use SOLUS. Third party have taken over but permissions are fecked, so the simple 'run as admin' in this post has fixed it for me.

can i ask does this problem only exist for early years or should all schools be worrying about this issue?

Apologies if this is a dumb question..

Scrap that it turns out it doesn't effect all, just early years.
