Sixth Form Signing In for Fire safety

Please can you share what signing in/out systems you use for fire safety for Sixth Form. We had Inventry which was very expensive for what it is and 2/3 years ago moved to Sign In App. Now despite the students having access to an app on their phone and an iPad with the TAP (Mifare) attachment, we regularly have 60 or so students not signing in. Our head of Sixth form blames the software, it's very poor he says and too slow and that other sixth forms have better. hmmm

Basically whatever software you have it's down to the 6th formers to sign in and sign out and down to the head and head of 6th to make them - this has to be instilled in them or your fire registers are still going to be wrong and so people/fire fighters could still die in a fire because of that.

We've used sign in app before, no complaints really. It did the job and was easy to manage

 

Our main site is with Inventry which I'm not a fan of, We've got a bent paperclip cable tied to it so I can reset the thing whenever it's decided to crash out. They have a QuickScan unit that the Sixth Formers scan their MiFare cards on, which does sort of work.

 

Another school we look after has EntrySign which I put in the same sort of boat as Inventry.

 

 

I'd stick with Sign in app, it sounds like a 'user' error issue

SignInApp here for Sixth Form signing in and out, no issues.

We've got Inventry here (agreed it's expensive for what it is) which works well, students just don't use it.

This is almost definitely a student management problem.

We looked into something called Musterd recently that integrates with Net2. It looked great, but its not cheap.
