Caffeine11 Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 I have some machines running Windows 10 1809 and I am trying, without success, to upgrade them to 22H2 using the feature update in WSUS. Google has not been able to give me a clear answer to the following question. Using WSUS can you go from 1809 to 22H2 in one step or is it more likely to succeed if you take more steps. For example, go to 2004 and then use the enablement package to get to 22H2?
Oaktech Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 I've had no success using WSUS to go more than 1 version up. I'd be seriously tempted to just nuke those machines from orbit and start again clean.
3s-gtech Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 I used to go across two years with WSUS - last time was last summer. I’ve since binned WSUS as it kept breaking. It worked in most cases - so I did 1703->1903->20H2->22H2. I did have to rebuild some suites and some machines refused to take it.
