Rolling out Two Factor Authentication to some users this week, is there a way to see who has completed the setup procedure for Office 365 2FA?

Thanks

M365 Admin Centre > Entra > Protection > Authentication Methods. You can download the list of users and then remove those you don't need (such as students for example). You can use the "Methods registered" column to see who has registered a method and which type.

FYI if anyone can't find it, the route (on my tenant at least) is Entra > Security > Authentication Methods, not Protection.

There's then a "User registration details" report on the left under Monitoring.

Had a look at ours and if I'm reading this right, we have 100% staff uptake for MFA. Call me cynical, but I don't buy it.

We just sent out guides last year, gave staff a deadline to pre-register the Microsoft app then enforced it on the date we said. Anyone who wasn't setup got the prompt after next logging into 365.

Expected pushback about using the MFA app on personal devices but surprisingly didn't get any, we prepared a very special IT support iPad to register those people with so that they had MFA but warned them that if it prompted they would need to come to us for authentication. MFA seems to be pretty invisible when you setup the laptop to use their work/school account anyway.
