YouTube error "You're offline. Check your connection."

Is anyone else having problems with YouTube showing "You're offline. Check your connection." when trying to play videos?

 

We are using Smoothwall for our filtering.

Smoothwall here and I've been able to get on to YouTube - no calls from staff or 6th form.

With it disabled it seems to help here...

Oddly, I had it briefly at home. At the end of last year. At the time, a refresh fixed it and. YouTube played normally.

Check to see if the logs show the access was blocked - when on Youtube the blockpage sometimes doesn't show for some reason.

Did a restart this morning and seems to be happier.

 

I did log a support case with some logfiles.

The only other thing that I might have done at the time was to make sure my browser was up to date. It was otherwise transitory
