Video editing software

Hi

Does anyone have a good recommendation for good free video editing software for pupils to use. clip champs requires a buisness e3 licence rather that the a3 licence we have for education so I was wondering what could be used as an alternative.

Davinci Resolve and Hitfilm Express are great, free video editors but they may be a bit too advanced for your use case.

Canva is free to Edu - you have to sign up. Get a 1Tb workspace per user and the video editing part of it works on anything. You also get a load of other tools as well. SSO against out Google Workspace accounts.

Totally hadn't noticed that Canva had video stuff.

Davinci Resolve is probably the best option if they're secondary students & higher. Free but also considered up there as an industry standard video editor.
