Deploying Code with Mu (stop it using appdata)

Afternoon all,

 

Can I have some assistance with deploying Mu please?

I'm using PDQ deploy to deploy the MSI and I've changed the allusers setting to ALLUSERS=1 but when I then run it on a deployed machine it tries to use the app data folder.

When I try to run it as a student I get errors.

Has anyone got Mu installed on their network?

I run it from a share rather than install it... Obviously not an option if you're cloud based.

If it will run from a share it will run from any folder... so you should be able to copy it to where ever you want (%programfiles%, obvs) and run it from there?

If it’s not changed recently there’s a config file it creates when you run it that points to where it should use

 

We preceated it and gpo deployed it so when it’s run it points to their home drive instead

 

Think it was called something like settings.json ?

I am trying to run Mu but it keeps erroring as it wants to run in appdata. Can't find the settings file that points to this, any help would be appreciated?
