Anyone have an email address of someone in the Microsoft UK Education Team, I want to ask a question about why the decision was made to remove retention policies from the free A1 licence to A3 as this is going to cost our school £2,500 annually.

I'd just like to speak to someone to ensure they understand the consequences to schools with already stretched budgets!

I did attend a virtual meeting with Microsoft on the licencing changes.

 

They basically were fairly candid that they realised it was going to create issues.

 

The A1+ removal was due to "none compliance".

 

Thr storage limits due to some edu organisations (think universities) were using huge amounts of space that were now costing MS to provison.
