I have been loaned to a local primary school that is running a CC3 network. I have been able to do most things asked so far, but this one has me beat.

I am trying to get a simple batch file (all it does is copy a file) to run at staff logon.

I have no idea where the startup scripts etc are or how to amend them. Any help advice or instructions would be greatly appreciated.

I found this aswell, they're not in the NETLOGON share. I suspect RM have moved it. I'd also be interested to know the answer to this.

I have used batch files on startup successfully.

Make sure the bat file is in the forest root NETLOGON folder as well as the GPO's script folder.

When editing the GPO to add a login script make sure you use the UNC path to the script located in the NETLOGON folder.

You could create a new GPO (don't mess with the RM ones) and add it there. Be very careful you don't change what's there, but this is probably the best way if you know what you're doing.

However, I've found user scripts very hit and miss.

Why do you need to copy this file? (MSI is the best way if possible - use Advanced Installer, it's very good for simple MSIs like that.)
