Axel AX3000 m70 for Lesson Monitor

Recently received 15 of these terminals, only one word for them: brilliant

 

My only previous experience of thin clients were some HP T5000 things, dreadfully slow at starting up, no compression, and generally awkward design. These Axel terminals have absolutely none of those issues, would happily buy more. The little VGA lead is a nice finishing touch as well.

These look like a great solution for one of the small primary schools I support that are looking to space save and have a neat solution to replace their 12 year old XP machines with CRTs. One question though - and for this school it is a bit of an important one - what would, say, a YouTube video perform like either on the webpage or full-screen. I know this has always been an issue with TS clients but these units appear to have a decent enough graphics capability.
