[sims] SIMS homepage - timetable not showing for member of staff

Hi all,

 

A new member of staff is logging almost daily tickets saying that her homepage is not displaying her timetable in SIMS, her timetable is correct when viewing through Reports->Timetables->Staff but she is insistent that it displays on the homepage.. We have a new member of staff responsible for the timetabling and has been having issues getting everything sorted (handover from last staff member was less than helpful) and I am trying to help him out, I have skimmed through HFL document DMS387 but this didn't show anything obvious. Just wondering if any of you have any ideas around this?

No complaints from any other members of staff but that's not to say they don't have the same issue. I noticed that in Classroom Staff Details she does not have a subject, organisation or working pattern.. but then neither do some other staff members (most have a working pattern though)

Please let me know if you need any more info and I greatly appreciate any help you can provide!

We’ve only been using sims for a few days but my data lady she used to be on a support desk for sims.

 

I remember her warning me that this type of issue can occur if the user is created in system manager 1st before she had a staff record.

 

It could also be that when creating the user in system manager the staff record was not linked at that point so her user doesn’t know who her staff record is.
