Sky TV and Firewall

Hi

 

Does anyone know a list of firewall rules we need to open on our firewall to allow Sky Q and Sky Glass to work properly? Sky Q work but voice control doesn't and sky glass doesn't work at all, probably as there is no dish. We have quite a few sky Q's and glass devices on our network.

Newer BSkyB products are particularly annoying to configure IMO. I ended up sticking them in their own VLAN w/ unfiltered access to get everything working; as segmenting traffic, VLANs etc were a nightmare (especially if you're looking to use the Multicasting stuff etc) - you'd have to then look at Relays, etc (at least, from past experience).

Maybe try a sniffing tool to see if that can shed some light?
