Library management software

Hi all,

 

Curious what the braintrust thinks about the different options for library management software - i.e loan management for books. Ideally integrated with LDAP or Google Workspace if possible!

 

We're on Allensby QuickTrack atm but our lovely librarian isn't best pleased with it, and to be honest I'd much rather something more modern.

We are a primary school and use Libresoft, does everything we want, just works. We run it off 2 iPads in our library.

My 3 KS1/2 schools all use Libresoft. I love it as I rarely have to look at it!

 

We don't have it integrated, but I believe this is possible at extra cost.

ESS Reading Cloud at the minute but hoping to switch over to Libresoft next renewal - watched a demo and it looked good

Just rang Libresoft to get a quote and I'm already impressed... I called, gave them my details and they're shipping a quote over to me already! No point sitting through hours of meetings to find out it's not within budget...

One of my schools was an early adopter and we found a problem (can't remember what it was now) but the fix was in place within a couple of hours. They're bigger now, so I'm not sure if they're still that lean, but then the quirks should have been worked out by now!
