Exchange 365 - Email Signatures

Just a quick heads up, what do people use for generating email signatures in Office365?. I use the disclaimer rule for our MAT wide disclaimer but would like to start generating some branded email signatures, name, job role and school badge.

We use CodeTwo (https://www.codetwo.com/email-signatures/).

 

Easy to design, responsive for desktop and mobile and all works really well for our needs. Takes dynamic info from AD.

You can use the mail rules in Exchange for basic signatures and disclaimers, they dont measure up to CodeTwo or Exclaimer but they are free.

This can be an issue but if you're looking for a proper branded, consistent and centrally managed solution, it's the best way to go.

To offer the low tech option. We just have a shared HTML page template (was word template, but that didn't play nice with 365 webmail). Staff are told to copy it, put their details in and save it as their signature.

We use mail flow rules on Office 365/EAC mail flow rules. Staff has been told not to add signature from their end.

 

In mail flow we use HTML code to create the email signature template:

PowerShell sync Job Title and rest of the details from MIS to the AD User fields.

Is this a signature though or a disclaimer?

 

A disclaimer goes to the very bottom of the email string, rather than a signature that goes at the end of the actually current email text

yes it is a signature as a disclaimer.

For the fresh new email it will be added at the bottom of their current email, however for the replies/forwards it gets added at the bottom of the chain.

As @bicky says this is a disclaimer and it is not visible whilst creating the message both of these are minus points and could be show stopping however if your are looking for a cheap solution it is considerably cheaper that the about £1 per user per month for the commercial alternatives.
