[sims] NOVA T6 update to version 6.42

Hi all

 

I need help in updating NOVA T6 from version 6.41 to version 6.42 -- Please provide all the necessary details I might need as I am quite inexperienced in dealing with SIMS or this timetable management tool

 

I have a couple of questions which I hope some of you will be able to answer

1. where can I get the latest patch for nova t6 as I searched the internet to find nothing

2. how is the patch installed?

3. does nova T6 communicate in some form of way with sims, if so are there any precautions which I need to be made aware of?

Hi Martin, There is mention of upgrade in this online article.

 

https://faq.scomis.org/kb26315/ The updater is usually distrubuted when you update core SIMS.

 

However I highly suggest you make contact with your SIMS Support provider, be that a 3rd party, LEA or SIMS themselves as you have not done this before. They will have a procedure and will be able to advise on connection methods via your connect.ini file.
