Replacement PC for Art and Design

Hi All

 

Our existing ADT PC's are coming to the end of their lifecycle. They are Dell Precision T1700's i5 4th Gen 16Gb RAM. Really looking for something with 32Gb (upgradable to 64), latest i5/i7 CPU and a GPU capable of running the updated version of Blender, Adobe CS etc.

 

What are others using in their ADT labs at present and any recommendations for purchase?

Minimum specs for Adobe CC suggest 8th gen Intel Core or Ryzen CPU, 16GB+ of RAM, scratch disk available, a decent enough GPU etc.

 

We’re running it okay with 10th gen i3s with 8GB or RAM and no scratch disk, but modest needs. RAM can be upgraded on these.

Running CC on 12th gen i3 16GB RAM 512GB SSD here. These are brand new machines. Your old machines that you are getting rid of are barely any worse!
