Hang on, perfect solution - buy a VW Camper van, live in that. Neatly kills two birds with one stone and all that. Working in a school is the perfect environment, too - somewhere to flush your sewage tank and get fresh water, bet you could run a cable from the server room to recharge batteries too...

Even a second-hand one? Isn't there some fancy (and expensive) "reimaged" version out now, like the updated Mini?

 

Bet you could make one with huge great solar panels on the top to charge batteries. I don't think that would be enough to drive an engine, though.
