localzuk Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Is it possible to create a policy that applies a simple date cut off to Inbox/Sent Items, but leaves things in folders alone? And if so, does this need A5/E5 licenses?
3s-gtech Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Yes, and no. I have a retention policy that deletes (to Trash/recoverable) anything older then 6 months in the Inbox. It doesn’t touch normal folders, but will delete things in sub-folders of Inbox! We have A3, but it may work on just A1. It makes FOA searches easier, tightens up our data retention compliance, and made me extra popular when I set it up (at the HT’s instigation!)
