Got an email this morning from Adobe saying they now introduced a new Storage Overview page in the adobe admin console. Straight away after this email we had another one saying we have reached our storage limit. When I login, it looks like each users get 2GB of storage and we have a few users over that limit. In the email it said that we have 1TB of pooled storage but I can't see how to apply or change any storage settings. Did anyone else get this email (we just renewed our adobe licensing so it might be something to do with that)?

@RLR, we currently only have licenses for Adobe Creative Cloud Express, and I also received a notification email, which read:

Your [Organisation] has reached 100% of storage limit. Please login to Admin Console and review storage consumed and perform clean-up to avoid disruption in services for the end users.

I raised case E-000655654 with Adobe Support. This is the reply I received:

This has been raised with the engineering team & we’ve found the root cause.

CC Express offers have been configured with 2GB and the cap is "unlimited". Since it is set up as unlimited, the org gets provisioned with an overall org quota of 2GB.

This is specifically the case for orgs that have only CCX as the only product that provides storage - CCX (the product that offers storage).

Though only 2GB is provisioned for the whole org, since you are an enterprise customer, end users would still be able to upload content. The only issue is the email to the admin saying that they have reached the quota and the display they see in the Storage tab that the quota is just 2GB. Other than that, there is no impact on the customer or any of their use cases.

This was my response:

As I understand, the quota warning is purely informative and "there is no impact on the customer or any of their use cases".

As such, I will disregard the notification message and not pay attention to the advice which says "Please login to Admin Console and review storage consumed and perform clean-up to avoid disruption in services for the end users."

Perhaps the warning email notification wording could be corrected to reflect that there is no impact to services as a result of having "reached 100% of storage limit"?

Also, I would advise you update the Adobe documentation with information about how to "review storage consumed and perform clean-up" if that is possible.

Thanks for the information. They should defiantly update the documentation or at least have some information when you login about this as it's very misleading.

I think I ignored this for months (we dont use K-12 express-used-to-be-spark offering). I did provision it all because we already had an azure federation link set up for our shared device CC licenses. Turns out a few people are using the free offering and storing in the cloud. Our shared storage now says we are using around 8Gb of 2Gb with individual users using some of their 2Gb quota. Looks like I will ignore this, I was going to raise a ticket but since everything was working, no weird charges appeared my thoughts were a glitch in the reporting and it seems it is.

Not sure why they cant just dynamically update the shared storage with users multiplied by 2Gb though.
