Hi,

Our students have found a way to set the pre-login background wallpaper to what ever they would like using the Windows Photo app. This is becoming more of a regular thing now; would like to see if anyone else currently has this issue and if they have found a way to prevent this.

We have set a custom background via GPO however if a student opens a photo in Windows Photo and sets as login wallpaper, the login wallpaper changes to the image they have set until the next user logs in. Luckily we've had nothing rude yet but we would like to find a a way to prevent this without blocking Windows Photos.

Thanks

And the 'prevent changing lock screen and logon image' setting isn't working for you?

It's preventing me from changing it even as an admin!

Hi thanks very much for your reply! You might be on to something just checked our GPO and we do have 'Force a specific default lock screen and logon image' enabled but never set 'prevent changing lock screen and logon image'

I'll set that and give a test and see if any students are able to change it again.

Thanks once again silly me :)
