it sounds to be a permissions issue but I can't think what, the exams officer has full rights to the SIMS folder on the workstation

Ah! Yes, that explains it - I'll have to try that first thing tomorrow! Thanks.

We had that following the May update with the Exams Module.

The only fix I could do was to rename the old SIMS. NET folder and re-install SIMS with SIMSINST.EXE

This solved the problem for us.

Is reporting working for those that have installed the june update? I installed it today and sims just issues an error message as soon as you press either run or design a report then just crashes

edit: also what version is everyones databases after the update?

Guys, have had 2 new servers so far, SIMS have been in done there magic!

Hope you guys all upgarded your admin machines memory this summer, Got a new server + 2GB hp machines, and still fairly slow. Fancy new splsh screen, to waste some more memory and time. framework 2 is a must, plus the update for it. No issues i can see with sp3 either.

Seems to be ok tho, have upgraded a few stations, no problems. As long as your permissions are right. Fms, got an issue, might post it tomo, if can't resolve it.
