Gatt Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Depending on the updates Im considering leaving all updates until after results day!!
kmount Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 No doubt the next census will come along and force an upgrade ...
dhicks Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 it sounds to be a permissions issue but I can't think what, the exams officer has full rights to the SIMS folder on the workstation Ah! Yes, that explains it - I'll have to try that first thing tomorrow! Thanks. -- David Hicks
FragglePete Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 We had that following the May update with the Exams Module. The only fix I could do was to rename the old SIMS. NET folder and re-install SIMS with SIMSINST.EXE This solved the problem for us. Pete
MattGibson Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Think I'll wait for everyone else to tested it first LOL....

djdos Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 Guys, have had 2 new servers so far, SIMS have been in done there magic! Hope you guys all upgarded your admin machines memory this summer, Got a new server + 2GB hp machines, and still fairly slow. Fancy new splsh screen, to waste some more memory and time. framework 2 is a must, plus the update for it. No issues i can see with sp3 either. Seems to be ok tho, have upgraded a few stations, no problems. As long as your permissions are right. Fms, got an issue, might post it tomo, if can't resolve it.
