SIMS Timetables to Office 365

I have been asked to look in to setting up SIMS timetable integration with Office 365 so SLT can see their class timetables on their calendars. I believe SIMS ID Lite can do this and is free, is anyone using this and if so have you had any issues with it. I am purely interested in the timetable integration at this time but may look in to using it to provision Teams groups later on. Does SIMS ID integrate the cover timetable as well or is it only the core staff/student timetables.

 

Are there any other free alternatives that may be worth looking in to as well?

Can't speak for SIMS ID Lite but Salamander can do it (Not FoC tho) along with a number of other things too.

We've been using SIMS ID to populate staff Office365 calendars. We followed the instructions in this link to set it up. https://id.sims.co.uk/support/wiki/102/display-sims-timetables-in-office-365-calendars

 

Not had too many issues as long as you are ok that it will only import the timetable for the next 6 weeks and it only includes timetabled lessons not meetings.

We have a few schools using Timetables in to O365 via SIMS ID and I don't think it does cover assignments. (if it does then it has never worked for us)
