PBSA & Slow Internet (intermittent)

Hi guys we were moved onto the PSBA (public sector broadband alliance) by our LEA, but every month or couple of weeks it'll grind to a halt and we'll have a morning with barely usable Internet until it is fixed. Just curious is anyone else on PBSA anywhere in Wales with a similar issue?

The whole of Powys is currently affected, all schools (primary & secondary), teaching healthboards as well as Corporate at County Hall.

 

PSBA are investigating - wondering if you're in the same email conversation as I am!

Sorry to bump this very old thread but anyone else having issues? I have a better browsing experience on a home broadband connection most of the time.

Sounds like you need to put pressure on your LA to get things upgraded. Can you get the other local schools to report it too?

In our LA (BCBC), Primaries have a 100gb connection and secondaries have 1000gb PSBA.

 

There are a few times where there's a slowdown but for the main its fine. just don't push/update apps via Apple School & whatever MDM your using during the school day, guarenteed to use all your bandwidth.
