teams disappears

I have a teacher and their laptop, we've installed teams twice now and they come in the next day and it's nowhere to be found. NOT installed, no record of it ever being on the laptop?!

Is the teacher getting a fresh profile each day? Teams installs in to the local profile so may be that

Try the machine wide installer MSI... If they're getting a new profile each time the machine wide should mean they get a new teams install each time.

the machine wide installer won't work as I've got the don't bother new people with teams GPO enabled (before not using the machine wide installer anyway). I've checked the users profile and it not new (as outlook still works)... stumped.

Had this with a few users, ended up putting a shortcut to the local installer on their desktop and once ran it just loads downloads and runs teams ,doesnt take too long to download and run so users arent that effected. Could always use the web version too
