genesis Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 Hi We us Acceptable User Policy that is built into Impero and when the new year 7 students log in , it produces the policy and only when they accept it allows them to log in to the PCs and if they deny it logs them off. This policy is produced to the student only when logging into the school PC for the first time. After that AUP don't kick-on until they finish year 11 . Is there any 3rd party software that can be used to set up AUP , so that AUP can be setup to all student when they start in September every year it prompts for AUP and once agreed it save the acceptable policy on the network. Any help would be great. Thanks
FN-GM Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 I suppose it depends on what operating systems you are using? NetConsent Might be worth looking at - https://www.netconsent.com/
Rob_D Posted February 16, 2022 Posted February 16, 2022 I guess using the interactive login GPO so they have to click through the AUP every time the log in is out of the question?
OLPTech Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 Couldn't you clear the signatures every September to make it show everyone the AUP again? Sorry it wont let me upload the image but its under Acceptable Use Policy on Impero Server then bottom left thats says "Clear Signatures" Or set it to "Always ask users to agree to the Acceptable Use Policy when they log on", but I guess you want it just once a year to appear? Just a thought as it doesn't cost any extra to what you have at the moment!
free780 Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 There is terms of use in Microsoft 365 Condional Access. It would only occur when login to 365 happens.
Boredguy Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 You could just reset the AUP setting in Impero so it prompts students at any point. We often reset it in the summer holidays so everyone gets it again at the start of the school year.
