It used to be on Fox in the UK, but that channel was closed in July as everything moved to Star on Disney+ instead.

I do find it interesting how The Orville has morphed from silly pastiche of Star Trek TNG to a genuine alternative to the modern version of Star Trek that it's become today.

Very true... I initially took it as a 'slightly' comedic rip-off of Star Trek, but even by the end of the first series (with a few of the slightly gritty scenes) started to warm to some of the characters/story lines and realised it wasn't just a straight up parody.

This is the final series isn't it? I hear that the studio space has been handed over to the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy reboot thats supposed to be filming soon!

It sounds like the cast have been told that they can pursue other projects and Seth McFarlane has already got stuff lined up including a "Ted" prequel series and a new adaptation of "The Winds of War"(!). One report said that he wants to "die" at the end of S3 so that someone else can take over, but Hulu are saying, "No Mercer = No Orville".
