Role Overview

 

In this position, you will contribute to the development and improvement of the IT Service delivery and processes. Managing the IT Services Team and providing higher-level technical assistance within the IT Service, ensuring technical issues are resolved timely.

 

Responsibilities:

 

● Service Delivery: Ensuring high levels of technical delivery of the services, Domain and Network administration, Service Desk and processes across sites.

● Making sure that IT department tasks and customer service requests are correctly logged, tracked, and completed according to service levels.

● Analysis of Servicedesk and other IT service data.

● Keep accurate records for IT asset and configuration management within the helpdesk, including recording and tracking client devices

● Implementation and maintenance of IT policies, procedures and security standards in the provision of IT services.

● To prepare monthly reports including service statistics and KPIs and review them with the IT Service team

● Collaboration with the COO and head of ICT to develop refresh plans and lifecycle models that enable the transition to a standardised hardware platform.

● Complete daily, weekly, termly and annual checks of servers, client devices, and network infrastructure, recording any potential issues or risks on the IT Projects Plan and the Service Desk.

 

Requirements/Experience:

 

● Experience working in schools

● Have a working knowledge of ITIL processes and procedures

● IT service or helpdesk management experience

● Deliver an IT service in compliance with a service level agreement

● Line management experience

● Microsoft Server, Networks, SAN Experience

● Ability to implement and monitor processes to improve IT services
