I started writing a web app to use it, not got back to it for a while as someone paid me to write something else instead

There might be some money in creating this as don't think there's anything out there for schools.

We use it in conjunction with Edulink One. All e-mails are sent via the notify service which can be to staff, students and parents.

I'm very interested to have discovered this and will be looking to do the same. We've bumped into Google's SMTP relay service quotas a few times with the amount our email our school sends via EduLink.

Yeah, we've used this to send over 25k e-mails this month alone! Does seem to be an issue with the reset password links sent via Edulink One via the Gov Notify service, but Overnet as always are dealing with it quickly.

Just working up to switching our EduLink One communicator service over to GOV.UK Notify, but when selecting the "Gov Notify" option in EduLink, it shows a notice that it can't send email attachments via that service [yet]. Is that what others see? That's a bit of a deal-breaker for us as I know quite a few things here get sent with attachments.

That's caused a few issues with us here. But I've resisted staff and just dictated this is the way for the timebeing. We have other systems in place to bulk e-mail parents with attachments so stick with those. I do know the Gov Notify API does now do attachments but Edulink One hasn't caught up yet. Always worth nudging support as they are pretty quick in getting things in place and changed as necessary.
