Anyone know where this is held? Just wondering if the PC will hold settings with a mandatory profile, would get on there and run a reg watcher but most of the classrooms have exams on atm

We use local profiles, when someone orients them it seems to be the same for all users. I hardly use them though so I might not be right.

Depending on the model and which type of orientation you perform depends on where the setting is saved.

Supposidly basic orientation (9 points) is stored on the machine whereas more advanced is set in SMARTBoard NVRAM (or equivalent) On a SMARTBoard 680, there is a small blue button on the bottom right of the board that if held for a certain amount of time whilst cycling power will reset the saved orientation on the board. Have only had to do this once due to a strange pen 'ghosting' issue.

I know it doesnt actually answer your question, just like being vague:)

Well from what's been posted so far it sounds like it's not in the current users' profile, which is all that matters :D

Cheers for your input so far
