Based in Manchester, One Education is one of the largest education support companies in England. An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and highly motivated ICT Support Technician to deliver ICT support services on our behalf. We provide ICT support in both Primary and Secondary School environments delivering remote support to customers as well as supporting a busy helpdesk.

 

This is an excellent opportunity, as the successful candidate will receive training opportunities as well as the chance to work with our senior technical staff on installations and projects. This will extend your skills basis as well as promote career development. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to demonstrate the ability to work across multiple sites.

 

If you are looking for a change, or looking for your first position in ICT Support and can demonstrate experience in some or all of the following areas this could be a great move for you:

 

- Microsoft Windows Environments - Server and desktop

- Device deployment, management and support

- Hardware fault finding & resolution (servers, laptops, desktops, printers)

- Active Directory – User management, group policy and software/printer management

- Apple IOS and OSX – Server and desktop

- Audio/Visual equipment (touchscreens, projectors, smartboards)

- Network fault finding and diagnostics

- Wireless networking
