You know its the last day of term when all support requests are either "my dvd wont play" or "the sound is iffy"

*not a lot going on here today!

Ours was last week!

You know its the last day of term when leaving staff handing their 1:1 devices back ask if they can keep them! Every time, warned new techs who's first end of year it is that they will ask. Hour or so later ... 'Can I keep the Surface?'. I don't think they know what a lease is.

We once had a teacher ask to keep a laptop as the school they were moving to only had desktops. They also didnt have a laptop/computer at home so wanted the school one for that.

They were very miffed when we said they couldnt keep it as it would be going to their replacement.

I had a headteacher who let anyone retiring keep their device.

God knows how the Business Manager dealt with it, but I found it an asbolute pain picking things apart.

Then again, this was a teaching body who was offended when I told them their laptops were teaching devices, not personal ones and I would remove any holiday photos from the server if I found them!

Mega busy here.

We have leavers so having to chase all equipment returns.

As well as running round making sure all films are playing....Schools turn into multi screen Cinemas on the last week of term.

Got no end to do before the end of the day.

Got a week left here, but with a raft of changes occuring over the summer it's a busy one!

Currently we're on the first steps of migrating lock stock to 365, file wise. Wouldn't be an issue until I have to go through all the files with stupid names over 255 characters long that won't otherwise migrate.

C:\I dont get\why people\feel the need\to organise\into folders\foreverylittlething\1. then decide to\2. have duplicates of those folders\3. within other folders\and then have a load of files\deep inside those folders\who's filenames were lifted from the entire\first paragraph of the file they were working on\because they couldnt\be bothered to\correctly\save\their\work.docx
