I just purchased 33 Ryzen based Lenovo's, the first PCs with Ryzen and NVMe storage for the school. Early testing says these things rip!

The PC was still installing drivers and updates so the scores could be a little better.

These are so nice I wish I'd bought one for myself!

These are not only better than my office PC but better than my old 4790k at home. I'll stick a game on it later and see how well the IGP does. single 8gb ram though...next years upgrade as no prebuilt can be configured with dual channel ram. (it would seem)

For gaming, it’ll be somewhere a chunk below a mid range card. They’re great for casual stuff and older titles, but CP2077, Metro: Exodus etc will make it cry.

The monitor is a stand in, they're on a different order;) I'm trying to get IPS or VA panels this time. I put the Crysis 2007 demo on it and it ran 60+ 720p medium. I haven't pushed it further yet.

oh, happy to report the lenovo has 4 memory slots (peeked inside) so upgrades should be easy.

Can you share where you purchased them from and roughly the cost you paid?

What warranty do these come with?

Thanks

@Paid_Peanuts I paid £358 each from Millgate, they come with peripherals and a 3yr onsite warranty (which is nice) My account manager is Sarah whom I make many demands too! ;)

edit: also they have 10gig usb on the front! (my first)

That's a good price. Just had a quote for the following USFF Ryzen PCs...

HP ProDesk 405 G6 Desktop Mini (P/N: 23H56EA#ABU) - £399.00

  • AMD Ryzen 3 Pro 4350GE (4C/8T)
  • 8GB DDR4-3200 RAM
  • 256GB NVMe SSD
  • Windows 10 Pro

HP ProDesk 405 G6 Desktop Mini (P/N: 294V2EA#ABU) - £469.00

  • AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 4650GE (6C/12T)
  • 8GB DDR4-3200 RAM
  • 256GB NVMe SSD
  • Windows 10 Pro

5 Year NBD On-Site Warranty for Desktops (P/N: U7925E) - £32.00

5 Year NBD On-Site Warranty for Monitors (P/N: U7935E) - £7.00

The following items turn the desktop PCs above into AIOs. :)

  • HP Mini-in-One 24" Full HD Monitor (P/N: 7AX23AA#ABU) - £232.00
  • HP Type-C USB 3.1 Gen2 Port with 100w PD v2 (P/N: 13L60AA) - £19.00

@Arthur Millgate first offered me the M75q G2 Ryzen 3 Pro 8GB 256GB W10P 3Y OS for £342.19 each (exVAT) that is the USFF type.

EDIT: that should be the 4000 series as that was what I spec'd was a 4350G

Edit2: that is a sweet monitor.

Out of curiosity who’s doing those quotes? :p

We bought one of these PC's in full AIO kit - Curries listed the whole kit and caboodle for £419. Snapped their arms off to by one, got MASSIVELY impressed (they're built like brick outhouses), went to put the order in for 30 to find they'd corrected an obvious price mistake and went up to £700!

That'd be great :) appreciated!

PM sent. If you do get a cheaper quote than me let me know. ;)
