3s-gtech Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 I've just ordered some Edu Upgrade licenses for our Chromebooks. I've received the confirmation email from Google. How long does it typically take for these to appear in the console so I can start to assign them to devices?

Your reseller has to process it with the distributor, who then processes it and applies them to your domain. Usually next day, but allow up to 3 I'd say.
3s-gtech Posted April 29, 2021 Author Posted April 29, 2021 It took about an hour today - that answered that! That was from getting the confirmation email. My test Chromebook is now managed, and I found the setting to allow users to log on with their O365 login with SAML.

Zoom7000 Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 In my experience, it's completely random. Sometimes it's taken a few days, sometimes mere a few hours!
TwistedHelixis Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 I found the setting to allow users to log on with their O365 login with SAML where was that?
KK20 Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 there is a very good MS walkthrough that steps you through the google side. For chrome devices using SAML https://support.google.com/chrome/a/answer/6060880 Azure AD SAML https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/saas-apps/google-apps-tutorial
3s-gtech Posted April 29, 2021 Author Posted April 29, 2021 where was that? Under User & Browser Settings (in the Chromebooks section of Devices) Single sign-on SAML-based single sign-on for Chrome OS devices Enable SAML-based single sign-on 1
