Does anyone happen to know where i can get 10x 4 pole splitter cables which will enable 2 headphones with Microphones to be used at the same time on one device?

It needs to be 4 pole as one person will be using the microphone and earphones and the other will just be listening.

You can use 2 sets of headset using a splitter 3.5mm Jack and the inbuilt microphone on a laptop.

On a PC you could use a a splitter and 2 headsets using the splitter and the mic 3.5 jack plugged into the mic socket of the PC.

I have tested the laptop theory, so no reason why the PC theory wouldn't work.

Used one of these.

Cheers, i was thinking using the mic via the port might prevent background noise as the mic on the laptop might pick up other people talking in the room.

Will see what happens when the adapter arrives.

So it turns out the cable from Kenable allows for audio but doesn't allow for mic. The laptops only have 1x 3.5mm socket and this is a 4 pole socket. If the laptops had separate 3.5mm audio and mic ports it wouldn't be much of an issue.

Fortunately i had a usb sound card at home and a 4 pole to individually mic and audio connections and this seems to do the trick.

A bit messy but it works - things you have to eh?

So this allows 2 users to share audio to separate headphones and allows 1 of the users to use the mic on the headset.
