The film includes some returning cast members and also introduces new characters, while telling a new story separate from the first film's narrative. Not a reboot them, but likely ignoring the first film entirely

Thought I recognised that grumbling it was none other than Sylvester Stallone as King Shark ! DC are trying to catch up with Marvel, reminded me of Vin Diesel as Groot.

The lack of light to cover CG FX was annoying (but common - have hopes that, if nothing else, Monster Hunter puts paid to this) and the fact that Cara D looked about 12, making her romance with the main guy look disgusting and illegal (plus what was that weird shimmy she kept doing?) were the main things I didn't like.
