Hi

Firstly I am new to Group Policy.

In a school environment running Windows 10 clients I need to be able to give a teacher the ability to increase the size of her mouse pointer which is normally under the Ease of Access Section but it is not visible for her to make the change.

Please could someone guide me through the section this will be disabled in Group Policy?

Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards

Though I reckon it's more likely that one of the Control Panel access restrictions has been set.

Is it just once? May be worth just going to machine and running main.cpl as admin, which should get you to the appropriate place. (I think this will stick for the teacher).

As you are new to Group Policy and not knowing your infrastructure and how many GPOs you have, it might be worth going to the bottom of Group Policy Management right clicking on Group Policy Results, run the Wizard on the Machine and User, and after it completes going into Settings and looking at the User Configuration. It should tell you what policies are applied to them and where they are applied. You can then make a judgement of if you want to change the policy for all users or create a new one targeted for just that one. Please note if you create a new policy the higher the rank (i.e. Rank 1) applies last and has the last word on what the setting should be set at.

If anything is disabled for Setting Page Visibility, this might be done on the Computer Policy as it took Microsoft a while to realise that people would want to restrict settings based on the user... not just the machine.

Unfortunately this one didn't work - just been able to have access to the teacher laptop to give it a go.

Kind regards.
