Rob_D Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Afternoon all, We're looking at quotes for replacement of our printer fleet (lease contract is up for renewal). And one of the better looking quotes we have comes from Apogee. I'd not heard of them before so would be interested to hear from anyone who is (or has been) using them or has had dealings with them, as to what you make of the service? I'm just looking for general feedback (and of course if you'd rather not post on the forum then DM me). Thanks guys!
DGardiner Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 dont touch them. Theyre snakes - Got stung first hand, theyre also the company that robbed people with "developments" (3x tick charging) and coincidentally called up 3 weeks ago asking for us to return a mfp we returned a number of years ago... or provide proof of return 1
Steve21 Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 (edited) Yeah heard a lot of bad things about them and their "tactics", like saying a colour copy is 5p but that's 5p "per colour" used so ends up being 15p a print! etc Steve Edited March 5, 2021 by Steve21 1
MatthewL Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Have a look here and here. They are from a few years ago but make of it what you want. I personally would not touch them with a barge pole, tried to sell to me years ago and was not impressed. 1
stebo730 Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 I have been speaking with Apogee and have been quite impressed with them compared to all the companies I have spoken with and have been helpful. They are now owned by HP as in 'Apogee, a HP Company' so things may have changed from a few years ago. I am in a similar position to Rob_D so if anyone has any recommendations for good suppliers of Printer Fleet that would be great.
jmak Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 It's a few years since I looked due to our lease cycle, but we changed from Kyocera to Ricoh and they were competitive and my experience of their service was very good.
