Wifi for non education users in school out of hours

How are people running wireless network ie we're education, so there is a BYOD so pupils and staff authenticate against AD but what about guests, as we're in essence operating as a commercial business with a sports hall, gym etc So what are people doing for this type of thing

We have a captive portal for this job. Users need to register with us first and we can add them to the account list. It’s not amazing - it only intercepts http so if you try to fire up Google as the first page it fails! You have to know of a site still on http only and ask them to use that [emoji38]

We only occasionally have guests using WiFi but we run a ruckus system, with that we use a captive portal that requires a guest pass. The passes can be generated by the admin team from a webpage. When creating the passes we can set how long they last and how many devices can use each code.
