GMAIL: Stop a sender going into spam across the whole domain? Or BLOG suggestions

We are setting up some wordpress class blogs and I would like to give the kids their own logins but the login emails are all going into SPAM. I have whitelisted them, so they don't end up in Admin Quarantine but they still end up in the spam folder in the individual inboxes.

I have created a rule in my inbox to stop them going to spam. Is there anyway I can stop them going into Spam for everyone. I don't want to have Year 5 trying to create gmail rules!

 

 

Alternatively, is there any other blogging software that works well for kids / classes, where the kids can blog and the teachers can approve the posts before it is published?

 

We want to do the 100 word challenge, so each child needs to be able to write a blog, the teacher will approve it, and then it can be publically commented on.

If you look at the headers of the email, Show Original in gmail, you should see info like:

SPF: NEUTRAL with IP ...

DKIM: 'PASS' with domain ....

DMARC: 'PASS'

I looked at Blogger, but it doesn't offer the ability to have teachers approve posts.

 

I am not checking out Edublogs which looks interesting.

You could also set up a Google Group with the teacher able to moderate and all messages going for moderation first. Again - never done it, so may not be practical.

From anaylsing the header on MX Toolbox - looks like their IP is on a/some spam blacklists and the DMARC is failing which is why it's hitting the spam inbox.

That stops it from being quarantined at an admin level, but it still ends up in the individual's spam folder.

 

I will email them, but it's a freebie so I expect they aren't keep to offer a huge amount of help.

It should still bypass their spam inbox if you create that bypass. If it isn't, then it's because their DMARC is failing and that is down to them unfortunately.

 

Google's article says -

I think they need to change the 'From' address so that it's [email protected] rather than [email protected]. Could be wrong.

I think I needed to wait for gmail to update, because it would appear that the messages are not going into SPAM today but are appearing with the warning message at the top saying that the SPAM filter has been overruled.
