I am hoping someone can help.

I have had Sebelius Licence Server on a Server 2008R2 VM for many years, but obviously we needed to update the server and I have installed a new server with Server 2016 but I can't get Sebelius Licence Server to work I have been going back and forward to their technical support who have finally said that it is not compatible with server 2016.

Now money is tight these days like it probably is for many has anybody got a workaround to get it back up and running?

The old server has been deregistered, is is worth trying compatibility mode?

Wasn't that difficult if memory serves. The Mac Server isn't particularly up to date though, I've had it sat there for years just as a deploystudio server, I have a 2nd more up to date one that deals with Profile Manager, etc. This one is only running 10.11.x but it does the job. I think the fact that I've got Sibelius on there is the reason I've not bothered upgrading it.

Did you do an in place update from your 2008R2 server? I did this when moving from 2008R2 to 2012R2 and it broke the activation (I think) of the license server. Avid were able to sort it though.

If you do get it working, make sure you remove "Avid Application Manager" (I think? Called something like that anyway), that was filling %TEMP% with tons of files daily on my server, by the time I worked out what it was there was 235GB of rubbish to delete.

I had this too, upgrading to the latest version fixed it (18.10.0.18605)

I'm having similar issue with Avid Application manager just filling appdata\temp folder. What steps did you take to clear this up? anything i need to be aware of. Or would you recommend uninstall clear folders then install new manager?

Uninstall it, and install the version I posted (18.10.0.18605) fixed it for me
