MacBook Air 2012 - Intel Graphics broken on Enterprise LTSC

HI all.

I recently imaged a MacBook Air 2012 using our base Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 image and ran into an issue with the Intel HD Graphics Drivers.

When I install the drivers via bootcamp, the display on the MacBook goes black with the backlight still turned on and no display shows up in control panel when I remote into the machine via Impero.

Removing the graphics drivers and reventing to the Microsoft Display Adapter solves this, but this is not ideal as the graphics performance is much worse not to mention windows update constantly reinstalling the driver.

Anyone experienced this with a MacBook before?

Can you try a different driver from Intel’s download site?

Will try that now. Bit of a pain as Windows keeps auto installing the borked drivers! WIll just have to do it with the device offline.

Fixed it. Installed Windows 10 using an MDT USB not in EFI mode. Seems these earlier models do not fully support EFI boot so installing EFI windows on them screws up the GPU drivers.
